Prosper Ogum outlines vision after securing two-year Black Starlets contract

Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum has pledged to build a strong foundation for the Black Starlets after signing a two-year contract with the Ghana Football Association.

The U-17 national team recently qualified for the 2026 CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations under his guidance.

Speaking after the confirmation of his appointment, Ogum expressed appreciation for the trust placed in him.

“I am grateful to the Ghana Football Association for the trust and stability this contract provides,” He said in an interview with GFA Communications.

“Our focus is clear, to build a technically sound, tactically disciplined and mentally strong team that can compete at the highest level in Africa. We are not just preparing for a tournament, we are building a foundation for the future of Ghana football.” Prosper Nartey

Preparations for the continental championship which kicks off in April, have already intensified as he works to assemble a balanced squad.
