The maiden edition of Airtel Raising Star winner Priscilla Okyere has been invited to South Africa for the launch of competition’s season 5.
The competition which is aimed at unearthing juvenile talents for the various national teams will be launched on Saturday.
“I will be in South Africa for the launch of the fifth edition as owe Airtel so much for developing my career,†Okyere told GHANASoccernet.com
“It’s a competition that has windows opportunities for young but talented footballers of which I am a beneficiary so once they deemed it fit for me to be there I have no objection to that.
“I have just secured my passport from the Ghana football association and I am more than happy to associate myself to search a promising competition.â€
Okyere captained Ghana to win bronze at the 2012 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan.
