Ghana’s Prince Ampem was the star of the show as Eyüpspor defeated Antalyaspor 2-1 in their final home game of the Turkish Super Lig season on Saturday.
The winger scored his side’s second goal in the 44th minute, calmly slotting in with his left foot after Mame Thiam had opened the scoring just minutes earlier.
Despite Antalyaspor pulling a goal back through Adolfo Gaich in the 87th minute, the home side held on for the win.
Ampem’s strike was his fourth goal of the season. He wraps up the campaign with 29 league appearances, marking one of his most consistent seasons in Turkey.
The win also helped Eyüpspor even the recent head-to-head record with Antalyaspor: two wins each and a draw in their last five meetings.
Eyüpspor finish the 2024/25 Super Lig season in 6th place with 53 points.
