Ghanaian youngster Prince Amoako continued his bright start to life in Denmark, scoring his third goal of the season in FC Nordsjaelland’s 3-1 home defeat to FC Copenhagen on Friday evening.
The 18-year-old forward put the hosts ahead just a minute after the restart at the Right to Dream Park, but Copenhagen turned the game around after Nordsjaelland were reduced to 10 men following Tobias Salquist’s red card before halftime.
Former Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko levelled the score in the 59th minute, before Pantelis Hatzidiakos and Yoram Zague sealed the comeback win for the league leaders.
Amoako, who was substituted in the 65th minute, has now scored three goals and provided one assist in five league games this season. His compatriots Stephen Acquah and Caleb Yerenkyi also featured in the match.
Despite his fine form, Amoako is yet to earn a call-up to represent Ghana at any level.
