Prince Amoako Junior to host “Giveback Tournament” in Amasaman this December

FC Nordsjaelland forward Prince Amoako Junior is set to reconnect with his roots by organizing a community tournament in Amasaman later this year.

The event, dubbed the Prince Junior Giveback Tournament, will be staged on December 27 at the Amasaman-Abease Park.

It will feature several local sides, including Avenor Stars, Oro Sporting Club, Great Corinthians, Peace Boys, Mighty Cosmos, Nafan FC, and Siano Soccer Club, the team where Amoako Junior began his football journey.

Beyond the matches, the 18-year-old Ghanaian international plans to make donations to the participating clubs as a way of showing gratitude to the community that shaped him.

“I appreciate the love and support you have shown during my professional career so far,” Amoako Junior said.

“On the 27th of December, there is the Prince Junior giveback tournament, where I will use to help young and talented footballers find hope in the game again.”

Amoako Junior joined Nordsjaelland ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and has quickly made his mark, scoring three goals and recording one assist in just seven appearances.

His bright start also earned him a nomination for the Danish Superliga Young Player of the Month in August.

The initiative highlights not only his rising profile in European football but also his commitment to investing in the next generation of Ghanaian talent.
