Guinea-Bissau President, Umaro Sissoco Embaló will be present to grace the occasion of the 2023 President’s Cup.
His Excellency also doubles as the chairman of Authority of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
He will be in the company of fellow President, Nana Akufo Addo who is a special guest of honour for the game.
Hearts of Oak host Asante Kotoko in a league tie which serves as the President’s Cup due to fixture congestion.
Penalty shootout will decide the winner, should the tie end in a draw.
This year’s winner will take home GHC50,000 and the runner up will pocket GHC30,000.
Hearts of Oak defeated rivals Kotoko 2–1 to win the last edition of the trophy in 2022.
