Premier League Preview: Who you got on MW4?

Man City are the only side to have a 100% record in the Premier League after three games following their 2-1 win at Sheffield Utd last week.

At the other end of the table, Everton and the three promoted clubs are all searching for their first points, with the Toffees yet to score a league goal.

Sean Dyche takes his Everton side to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield Utd on Saturday lunchtime. Will they break their duck for the season?

Elsewhere, Kenilworth Road hosts its first Premier League game on Friday night, while old foes collide when Arsenal host Man Utd on Sunday.

Let’s look at a trio of standout clashes from matchweek four in the Premier League.

Luton v West Ham

Kenilworth Road

Friday, 1st September @ 20:00

Luton have had a tough start to life in the Premier League with away defeats at Brighton and Chelsea. Now they’ll hope the home comforts of Kenilworth Road can see them record their first points of the campaign.

The Hatters only lost four of 24 Championship games on home turf last season (W11 D9), and Rob Edwards knows his side will be roared on by a full house. It’s 17/5 that Luton pick up all three points.

West Ham have made an unbeaten start to the season after last weekend’s impressive win at Brighton. That’s consecutive 3-1 victories for the Hammers and you can get 14/1 on them to win by the score for a third consecutive game.

We’ve released Epic Odds for the Friday Night Football. It’s now EVS (was 1/3) that Jarrod Bowen records a shot on target.

The forward has scored in both of West Ham’s away league games and could become the first Hammers player to find the net in their first three on the road since the club’s all-time top scorer Vic Watson achieved the feat in 1930/31.

Key stat: David Moyes has never lost in seven meetings with Luton in all competitions (W6 D1).

Brighton v Newcastle

Amex Stadium

Saturday, 2nd September @ 17:30

Brighton and Newcastle learned their European fates during the week. Now the sides meet at the Amex Stadium on Saturday evening with both looking to bounce back from home defeats last weekend.

The Seagulls have looked to get on the front foot in games with them recording the most shots (68), shots on target (30) and highest expected goals (7.7xG) in the top flight so far. Get 9/5 on a home win with two or more goals in the match.

Newcastle will have been left to rue their loss to Liverpool that saw them in front with a man advantage. The Magpies are unbeaten in their last four against the Seagulls (W2 D2) and are 10/11 Draw No Bet for this match on the south coast.

Anthony Gordon has played his part in recent games. The January signing has two goals and an assist in his last four league appearances. He had three shots on target against Liverpool, including his goal. It’s 12/5 that Gordon has over 1 shot on target, whilst you can get 13/5 on him to score at any time.

Key stat: Brighton have scored in their last 19 Premier League matches.

Arsenal v Man Utd

Emirates Stadium

Sunday, 3rd September @ 16:30

Arsenal and Man Utd have played out many memorable matches down the years. Will this be another epic encounter at the Emirates?

The Gunners remain unbeaten despite being held to a 2-2 draw with Fulham last weekend, where Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah were both on the scoresheet in consecutive home matches. While Man Utd came from 2-0 down to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 in a thriller at Old Trafford.

Arsenal have had the upper hand in recent meetings. They’ve won four of their last five home league games against the Red Devils (D1) and are 2/1 to win with both teams to score. The last two clashes at the Emirates have seen the Gunners triumph 3-1 and 3-2.

One player in a rich vein of form is Saka. He’s scored in each of his last three league appearances against Man Utd – no player has ever scored in four consecutive games against United. We’ve got odds of 9/4 on Saka to score anytime or 6/1 that he bags the first goal.

Key stat: 12 of the last 16 Premier League goals that Arsenal have conceded at the Emirates have been scored in the second half.
