A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly eyeing Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku following his impressive preseason form for Leicester City.
The Black Stars winger, who recently recovered from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, has emerged as a transfer target after showcasing flashes of brilliance ; including a stunning solo goal against Fiorentina during Leicester’s preseason campaign.
Issahaku featured in just 11 games last season before injury curtailed his campaign. Now fully fit, the 20-year-old appears to be regaining his sharpness, attracting interest from unnamed Premier League sides.
However, Leicester City , who secured his permanent transfer last summer are reluctant to let the talented winger go cheaply.
The club views Issahaku as a key figure in their plans to return to the English top-flight and are expected to demand a significant fee if any deal is to be struck.
Issahaku is under contract with the Foxes until 2029, giving the club firm control over his immediate future.
