Pre-season: Asante Kotoko lose 4-2 to Simba SC in friendly

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have suffered another pre-season friendly defeat today.

The club has been in Sudan the past week where it is continuing with the second phase of pre-season training.

Today, Asante Kotoko engaged Simba SC in the third pre-season friendly in Sudan.

In the first ten minutes, the Porcupine Warriors excelled and managed to score through an effort from new forward Stephen Mukwala.

However, the team could not take advantage of the momentum and fell back in the remainder of the half.

Goals from Augustine Okrah, Papa Sakho, and Chama Klatous saw Simba SC turn things around to lead 3-1 at the end of the first half.

With each team scoring once in the second half, Simba SC recorded a 4-2 win at the end of the 90 minutes to carry the day.

This is the third friendly match Asante Kotoko have lost since arriving in Sudan.

The team is scheduled to play one final game before travelling back to Ghana.
