Portuguese club F.C. Felgueiras part ways with Ghanaian winger George Ofosu

Portuguese lower division club, F.C. Felgueiras have terminated the contract of Ghanaian international George Ofosu.

The Portuguese Liga 3 side has decided to part ways with the player following an uneventful stint with the club.

In an official statement to confirm the contract termination, the club said all parties agreed it is the best decision.

“FC Felgueiras informs that it has reached an agreement with Ofosu for the friendly dismissal between the two parties. To the Athlete, we wish him the best sporting happiness,” an official club statement said.

During his difficult stay at F.C. Felgueiras, George Ofosu could not do enough to play a match for the team.

The club is now in the market to find a replacement that will bolster the squad for the second round of the 2022/23 football season.

Meanwhile, the representatives of the Ghanaian are in talks with a few clubs over a possible move as a free transfer.
