After a productive spell at Peterborough, Kwame Afriyie Adubofour Poku is embracing a new challenge with Queens Park Rangers, eager to make his mark.
The Ghanaian playmaker contributed an impressive 30 goals and 30 assists in 147 games during his four-year stay at his former club, Peterborough.
Now settling into life at QPR, Poku is clear about his ambitions.
“It’s a new experience and I’m looking forward to it. I just want to get as many numbers individually as possible, and with the team improve on where we were last season.”
With a mindset focused on growth, he added, “That’s the main thing, carry on improving and see where it takes us.”
The 25-year-old, once a standout at Colchester, is hoping to reignite his international career, having featured once for Ghana in a friendly against Uzbekistan back in March 2021.
All eyes will be on Poku as he aims to light up the Championship with his attacking prowess.
