PHOTOS: Legon Cities return to training to prepare for the resumption of Ghana Premier League

Legon Cities FC resumed training on Monday, December 12, to prepare for the return of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

The Ghanaian top-flight league has been on hold since November 20, when the 2022 FIFA World Cup commenced.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) put the league on hold for this year’s mundial especially when some players had been selected from clubs in the Ghana Premier League.

Per the arrangement of the GFA, the 2022 Ghana Premier League will resume on December 19.

Today, Legon Cities FC have resumed training to prepare for the return of the league campaign.

Already, giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have been training to be ready for the return of the league. This week, all 18 clubs are expected to be back in training to prepare for the continuation of the league season.
