The Black Stars of Ghana on Friday, January 19, started training for their crucial game against Mozambique.
The Ghana male senior national team on Thursday played a pulsating 2-2 draw with Egypt in their second Group B encounter at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
In that game, Black Stars poster boy Mohammed Kudus netted a brace but defensive mistakes cost Ghana to miss out on amassing all three points.
Today, the Black Stars squad led by head coach Chris Hughton returned to the drawing board when the team held a recovery training session.
All 27 players in camp took part in the recovery training session as coach Chris Hughton targets a win in the crucial game against Mozambique next week.
Below are pictures from the team’s training today.
The must-win game against Mozambique will be played on Monday, January 22. Any result apart from a win will see the Black Stars crashing out of the 2023 AFCON.
