The Black Stars of Ghana have held their first training session as part of preparations for their two international friendly matches this month.
As earlier reported, several of the players invited by coach Otto Addo have assembled at the training camp in Marrakech, Morocco, in preparation for the upcoming international friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.
This evening the Black Stars led by coach Otto Addo held their first training session to begin work for the first of the two friendlies against Nigeria on Friday, March 22.
Here are some of the pictures from the training.
This appointment comes after the Super Eagles have been without a coach following the conclusion of Jose Peseiro’s contract on February 29.
Following a period of accepting applications for the vacant coaching position, the NFF has entrusted Finidi George with leading the team in the interim.
A post on the Super Eagles’ verified social media handle showcased Finidi in a meeting with team officials, accompanied by a caption stating, “Coach George Finidi has held a meeting with Super Eagles team officials as he leads the Super Eagles in international friendlies against Ghana and Mali #SoarSuperEagles.”
