Pearlpia Ladies’ Barikisu Abdul Rahman named Women’s Premier League player of the month –

Pearlpia Ladies midfielder, Barikisu Abdul-Rahman has been named NASCO Player of the Month in the ongoing 2021/22 Women’s Premier League.

While on national duty with the Black Princesses in Cape Coast, Barikisu suffered a cruciate ligament injury and underwent surgery with the assistance of the Ghana Football Association’s newly established medical fund.

She has been outstanding for her team since returning from surgery a few months ago, being named the enviable most valuable player of the match three times in a row and scoring a goal during the period under review.

She defeated Berry Ladies’ Philomena Abakah and Veronica Appiah, as well as Hasaacas Ladies’ Doreen Copson.

Barikisu will be given a 32-inch NASCO TV set.
