Portuguese trainer Paulo Bento has been shortlisted by the Ghana Football Association for the managerial role of the Black Stars.
The GFA are in the market hunting for a coach to lead Ghana after the exit of Otto Addo following the World Cup eliminated – albeit he clarified that was not the reason for his departure.
Paulo Bento has made two FIFA World Cup appearances in 2014 and 2022 with Portugal and South Korea Republic respectively.
The highly rated manager has managed clubs like Sporting CP, Cruzeiro, Olympiacos and Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic F.C.
Bento won EAFF Championship in 2019 as manager of South Korea Republic.
