Dutch winger Patrick Joosten, who has Ghanaian roots, is now a free agent following his release by Eredivisie side Willem II.
The 29-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of the month, and the club has opted not to offer him a renewal.
Joosten featured 17 times for Willem II in the 2024/25 campaign, contributing one goal and one assist.
His departure marks the end of a brief spell in Tilburg after joining the club to reignite his career.
Sources close to the player say he is weighing several options as he looks to bounce back with a fresh start.
Clubs in Belgium, Turkey, and Scandinavia are reportedly monitoring his situation closely ahead of the summer window
