Ghanaian-American striker Patrick Agyemang has completed a move to Derby County, signing a four-year contract from MLS side Charlotte FC for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old arrives in England after a standout spell in the MLS, where he tallied 10 goal contributions in 2024 and followed it up with 18 league goals in 2025.
Speaking to RamsTV, Agyemang expressed his excitement:
“I’ve heard great things about the club and the fans. I’ve always wanted to be part of something special — and now that I’m here, it feels amazing.”
He added that the move was on his radar during his Gold Cup national team duties:
“When I heard about Derby’s interest while with the national team, I was intrigued. But I had to stay focused. Now, I’m ready for this new chapter.”
