Former spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saanie Daara, has labeled Ghana’s Thomas Partey as one of the best midfielders in the English Premier League following his exploits in Arsenal’s game against Chelsea on Tuesday.
After months on the sidelines due to injury, Partey returned to the field with a great performance, contributing to Arsenal’s 5-0 heavy win against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
The former Atlético Madrid midfield gem used just 70 minutes to sweep football-loving fans off their feet, including Saanie Daara, who tagged him as one of the best midfielders in the English top flight.
Due to injury setbacks, Partey played 10 games in the League for the Gunners this season.
He is likely to start for Arsenal when they face Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
