Our work on the attackers showed against Kotoku Royals – Seydou Zerbo

Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo has stated that the technical team worked on some of his players in the attacking department to support Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala. He added that he was happy his attackers followed his instructions.

In yesterday’s matchday 14 clash, Asante Kotoko found their way into the Royals box and Richmond Lamptey made no mistake to give his team the lead in the 11th minute.

The Porcupine Warriors’ pressure on Kotoku Royals saw Steven Mukwala brought down inside the box. The Ugandan stepped up and scored from the spot.

Francis Andy Kumi pulled one back for Kotoku Royals in the 29th minute.

Steven Mukwala scored his second goal in the 61st minute, Serge Zeze Eric added the fourth goal, and Solomon Sarfo Taylor wrapped up the victory for Kotoko in the 90’+5 minute.

“We dont have much to say like we said we have worked very very hard on some players in the attacking lineup to give support to Mukwala and does what happened,” he told StarTimes monitored by Footballghana.com

“Because we practice it and saw that does a problem and at least we put it in play and it worked out. He is a very good player he can hold the ball well and give accurate passes and plays very very well I like it that way,”
