The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Seydou Zerbo has lifted the lid on his ambition for the club in the ongoing 2022/23 football season.
The gaffer and his team are unbeaten in the Ghana Premier League after playing three matches.
Today at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the coach guided Asante Kotoko to an emphatic 3-0 victory over Kumasi rivals King Faisal.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Seydou Zerbo said he wants his team to have a nice season.
According to him, the ambition in his first season is not necessarily to lift the Ghana Premier League title.
“Our ambition is to have a very nice season. I wouldn’t say winning the trophy or something but having a nice season,” Coach Seydou Zerbo told StarTimes.
Courtesy of today’s win, Asante Kotoko have climbed to 5th on the Ghana Premier League table with seven points.
The team also has one outstanding match to play.
