We’ll kick off our Wednesday night Multi Match Bet Builder in Germany as Bayer Leverkusen look to take another step towards a famous league and cup double in the DFB Pokal semi-final. Xabi Alonso’s side extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to 13 points on Saturday via a late turnaround to win 2-1 against TSG Hoffenheim. They will want to follow that up with safe passage into the cup final, but they habitually make things difficult for themselves.
Visitors Fortuna Düsseldorf have had a solid season in the German second tier. Promotion back to the Bundesliga is still within their grasp, and this cup run has been a welcome bonus. Daniel Thiourne’s side have had a favourable run to the semi-final, seeing off teams in their division and lower. They could make things tough for a Leverkusen side fighting on three fronts and could suffer from burning the candle at both ends.
I’m backing Leverkusen To Win and Both Teams To Score in this one.

This is a difficult game to call in the Coppa Italia, with both teams still in the hunt for the European spots in Serie A. A win for either team would put them in the drivers seat in this two legged semi final in which both will be desperate to mark a special occasion by reaching the final.
Goals have been a constant in recent game for these two teams, with Fiorentina seeing over 2,5 goals in four of their last six games, and Atalanta seeing over 2.5 goals in five of their last six. I’m backing Over 2.5 Goals to happen again in this one.
PSG To Win
Despite needing a 97th-minute Goncalo Ramos penalty to secure a point against Rennes in February, I expect PSG to get the job done here. Luis Enrique’s side have a 12-point lead in Ligue 1 and face the relatively straightforward task of hosting bottom side Clermont on Saturday, which gives them every reason to take this cup game seriously. If they are at their best, I back PSG To Win.

Both Teams To Score
Their opponents Rennes won’t approach this game lying down, and have the capabilities to make things difficult for PSG. Their 2-0 loss to Strasbourg at the weekend was the first time they have failed to score in eight games and, they have scored in all four of their previous meetings with PSG.
With it being a semi-final, Rennes will want to be at their best and I can see them scoring again which is why I’m backing Both Teams To Score.
