Ghana head coach Otto Addo has confirmed his squad for the international friendly against South Korea, handing goalkeeper Benjamin Asare a return to the starting lineup.

The Hearts of Oak shot-stopper did not feature in the match against Japan, where Joseph Anang was preferred, but gets the nod this time in Seoul.

Gideon Mensah will wear the armband and leads a defensive group that includes Alidu Seidu, Kojo Peprah Oppong, Jonas Adjetey and Caleb Yirenkyi.

In midfield, Medeama SC’s Prince Owusu earns his first start for the Black Stars and lines up alongside Kwasi Sibo.

Kamaldeen Sulemana is deployed just behind the attacking pair of Prince Kwabena Adu and Christopher Bonsu Baah.

The friendly forms part of Ghana’s ongoing preparations as the team continues its Asian tour.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8pm Korea Time (11am Ghana Time) at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul.
