Otto Addo lavishes praises on Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew after showing in victory over Madagascar —

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has praised forward Jordan Ayew for his performance in the Black Stars‘ resounding 3-0 victory over Madagascar in the 2023 AFCON qualifying opener.

Ajax midfielder Kudus Mohammed, Felix Afena-Gyan and substitute Osman Bukari got the goals as the Black Stars opened their qualification campaign to the 2023 AFCON with an impressive win.

Ayew, who was later handed the captain’s armband by his brother Andre Ayew, came close to scoring on four occasions but his efforts were deflected by the visitors’ goalkeeper.

Head coach Otto Addo spoke highly of the ex-Marseille man at the final whistle.

“Jordan played very well, he created numerous chances but their goalkeeper was excellent,” he said during the post-match press conference.
