Coach Otto Addo is hopeful of a second chance with the Black Stars as he opens the door for a possible return in the future.
Addo stepped down after Ghana failed to reach the last 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar – managing to pick up just three points.
The four time African champions gave away six points after two losses – a 3-2 opening defeat to Portugal and a 2-0 loss to Uruguay.
“Surely maybe one day I will get the chance to work again with the GFA but the next two and a half years, I have a contract with Dortmund and I have to respect that.” Otto Addo said.
Addo took over from Milovan Rajevac, initially as interim boss, and was given a contract that would last until the end of December.
