The Sports Manager of FC Nordjaelland academy, Mikkel Hemmersam, has shed light on the reasons Ghanaian youngster, Osman Ibrahim, was promoted to the first team.
Ibrahim had joined Nordsjaelland U-19 from the Right to Dream Academy and quickly caught the attention of the club’s manager, Johannes Thorup, who invited him to join the senior team.
The 18 year old striker made his debut for Nordjaelland in February, and since then, he has become a regular member of the squad.
Hemmersam explained that the young player’s exceptional physical skills and finishing ability were the main reasons for his promotion, but equally important was his willingness to learn.
According to Hemmersam, Ibrahim has demonstrated a strong desire to improve and has been receptive to coaching, which made him an ideal candidate for promotion. He also praised the Right to Dream Academy for the excellent work they have done in grooming Ibrahim and other top players like Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and David Accam.
The promotion of Ibrahim to the first team is a significant milestone in his career, and the Nordjaelland academy is confident that he will contribute to the Superliga team in no time.
