Victor Osimhen is taking a grounded approach ahead of Nigeria’s 2025 AFCON semi-final clash against Morocco.
“For me personally, I don’t think about it. It’s not going to be easy [but] we’ve got a chance,” he said.
The Super Eagles striker is focused on the task at hand, acknowledging the challenge ahead. Morocco’s home crowd will provide a tough atmosphere, but Osimhen is confident in his team’s abilities.
“We know what we have to do. It’s not going to be easy, but we can do it,” he added.
Osimhen’s calm demeanor is a reflection of Nigeria’s strong squad, which has won all five games so far in the tournament. The Galatasaray striker has been instrumental, scoring four goals.
Coach Eric Chelle will be looking to Osimhen’s experience to lead the team to victory.
With a win, Nigeria will secure a spot in the AFCON final. Osimhen’s focus now is on taking it one game at a time. “We’ve got a chance,” he said, emphasizing the team’s determination.
