The top scorer from this year’s African Youth Championships will now head to Holland with the sole aim of impressing Steve McClaren as he looks to strike it big in Europe. The former Kessben FC striker agreed a deal to join Enschede in June but has spent the last few weeks in Ghana trying to get the paperwork relating to his status in Holland sorted out. “I am relieved and happy,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “I have always said I am keen to make my mark in Europe and this paves the way for everything.” Osei’s desire to impress at Twente though could take a while as he is due to play for Ghana at the World Youth Championships which begins in late September. He says he will report back to Twente in Holland before joining his Black Satellites colleagues in camp ahead of the Egypt tournament.
