Simba SC have announced the signing of attacker Augustine Okrah from Bechem United for an undisclosed amount.
Okrah has signed a two-year contract with the Lions of Msimbazi after passing his medical examination with personal terms agreed few weeks ago.
The Tanzanian outfit come an agreement with the Ghanaian club for the services of the experienced winger ahead of the 2022-23 season .
The 28-year-old returned to Bechem at the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign after parting ways with Asante Kotoko SC.
He scored 14 goals in 32 matches in the domestic league as they finished in 3rd position, the club’s best position in the Ghanaian top-flight.
Okrah also played a role in the club’s reach to the finals of the FA Cup as he scored a screamer in the semi-finals against Aduana Stars. He netted 3 goals in 5 games in the cup competition.
