OFFICIAL: Saint-Étienne sign Ghanaian full-back Dennis Appiah from Nantes

AS Saint-Étienne have announced the signing Ghanaian defender Dennis Appiah from Nantes.

The 30 year old joins the Ligue 2 side on a deal which runs until 2025. He will wear the number eight shirt for Les Verts.

On his move, Appiah said that “I’m coming into a team that knows how to play football, that’s not the problem.” but suggested that he could offer some “aggressiveness to get out of the gloom caused by the club’s recent relegation” with his “experience

Born in France to Ghanaian parents, Appiah represented the European country at youth levels but he is yet to make a decision on his international future.
