Swiss Super League side FC Zurich have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Daniel Barnieh Afriyie.
The 21 year old joins the club from Heart of Oak for an undisclosed fee.
Barnieh has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.
The talented youngster is expected to link up with his new teammates after his Black Galaxies assignment at the 2023 CHAN in Algeria.
Marinko Jurendic, head of sport at FCZ, comments on the transfer as follows: “Daniel Afriyie is a dynamic and versatile attacking player who has a courageous style of play. He should take the next step in development at FCZ and give our game further opportunities forward.”
