Odense

It was hardly a surprising start to the season for Odense, who endured a poor campaign in season 2021/22, finishing seventh place in the 12-league Superliga table.
Their winless start to the new league campaign means that OB has now failed to win in six Superliga games dating back to last season. However, four of those six winless matches ended in draws.
They also have an inconsistent recent home record in the Superliga, winning just three of their last eight league games in the Danish top-flight, having failed to win their previous three home league matches.
Midtjylland
Last season’s runners-up have made a similar start to the new campaign as Odense, picking up just a point from their opening two Superliga games. Bo Henriksen’s team started the campaign with a 1-1 home draw against Randers.
They then slipped to a 3-1 home defeat against Silkeborg, which ended a nine-game unbeaten run in the Superliga for the visitors.
The start to the new league campaign doesn’t bode well for Midtjylland’s chances of winning the top flight this season after finishing as runners-up in three of the last four campaigns.
Midtjylland has a strong recent away record in the Superliga, as they have won five of their last six games on their travels in the Danish top-flight, including their last four away matches.
What does Forebet predict?
Forebet predicts that these two teams will be waiting longer for their first league win of the campaign, with this game finishing in a low-scoring draw.
