Odartey Lamptey expects ‘better’ Kudus in future

Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey is expecting better performances from Mohammed Kudus in subsequent seasons at Ajax.

The last few months has seen the 22-year-old scoop several hounours with the latest being the Men’s Foreign based Footballer of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year Awards respectively at the 47th SWAG Awards.

Kudus has scored 12 goals in 25 games in all competitions this season.

In an exclusive interview with CITI Sports, Lamptey stated he is happy Kudus is building up his football profile at Ajax Amsterdam.

“He can still grow, he is a young chap and I am very happy where he is playing now in the Netherlands,” he said.

“t’s easy for him to grow and I am sure when he stays there quite a bit longer, he will be better than he is now.”
