Nottingham Forest is one of the Premier League clubs plotting a move for Ghana skipper Andre Ayew.
The 33 year old who is now a free agent after terminating his contract with Al-Sadd is currently in England to hold talks over his future.
Everton are in advanced negotiations with player’s entourage but will have to beat off competition from the Tricky Trees who have an ace in their pursuit of the former Marseille star.
During the 2019-20 and 2020-21 campaigns, now-Forest boss Steve Cooper was Ayew’s head coach at Swansea.
Cooper will be counting on their relationship in their bid to convince him to join the club.
The Ghanaian international is eligible to be registered by any club despite the transfer window closing on Tuesday due to his free agent status.
Ayew has Premier League experience, having played for Swansea City and West Ham United in the English top flight earlier in his career.
