Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara, has refused to blame his players for the defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The Phobians suffered a 1-0 loss in the matchday 13 Ghana Premier League super clash, with Albert Amoah’s late strike securing the win for arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.

The loss was aided by miscommunication between goalkeeper Benjamin Asare and defender kelvin Asibey.

“I don’t want to blame any player but when you are Big and go to the supermarket, don’t bring any small attackers and that is the problem,” he said.

Following the defeat, Hearts are sitting 7th with 19 points. They will host Berekum Chelsea in Accra for matchday 14 of the GPL.
