Ghana turned down the invitation to play in a four nation tournament in South Africa because it clashed with domestic league fixtures.
A trip to Venezuela was also called off but Anagla is adamant Ghana’s plans are on course.
“The most important thing is that the players are playing regularly at club level and staying in shape,” he told KickOffGhana.com.
“The fixture list in Ghana means that we can’t get the players for a long time. It has become as difficult as getting players for the seniors team itself.”
Ghana are grouped with Uzbekistan, England and Paraguay for the tournament due to take place in Egypt in September.
Anagla confirmed the team will play South Korea in two games this month before taking on Nigeria in August.
The team’s final game before the tournament will be against the United Arab Emirates in Turkey.
