The League leaders have strengthened with a number of big name buys and Kosta Papic says the purchases have made his side stronger than before. But he says blending them and getting the best set for the club during the second half of the season might prove tricky. “We must be careful how we go about this but at this stage the squad is looking stronger than it was in the first half of the season,” he told KickOffGhana.com. Hearts of Oak’s new signings include former national goalkeeper Sammy Adjei and ex-Black Stars midfielder Hamza Mohammed. Papic says all of them will have to justify their places in the team. “Everyone must work hard if they want to play. “Every position has two or three players and I will give every player a chance to prove how good they are but the goalkeeping department is a bit different. I will look at Sammy and McCarthy, observe them for a while and decide who the number one goalkeeper is.”
No favours for big names – Papic
