Nii Odartey Lamptey confident Chris Hughton will lead Black Stars resurgence

Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey is confident Chris Hughton will lead Black Stars resurgence after years of underperformance.

The ex-Tottenham Hotspurs trainer was announced as the new coach of Ghana last Sunday and he will be assisted by George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

The technical team will commence their work next month when the Black Stars engage Angola in an AFCON qualifiers at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Ahead of the clash, Nii Odartey Lamptey believes Chris Hughton is the right man to find a panacea to Black Stars problems.

“He has worked as the technical advisor and he is now the head coach so I believe it is possible he can help solve our problems,” he told Asempa FM.
