Nico Williams pledges to work hard after signing new Atletico Bilbao contract

Nico Williams has expressed his gratitude after signing a new Atletic Bilbao contract, saying he will keep working hard.

The Spanish-born of Ghanaian descent has penned down a contract until June 2027.

Nico after signing the fresh contract said, “I’m very happy to be here in Bilbao and to stay with this great family.” “I’ve been here since I was 11.

“This is a dream come true. Now I have to keep working hard,” he added.

Nico Williams joined when he was 11 years old.

Before signing his contract, Nico Williams was linked to several top European clubs due to his exploits in La Liga.

He has so far made 11 appearances, scoring once with five assists to his credit.

Despite being born to Ghanaian parents, Nico is a Spanish international while his big brother, Inaki Williams switched nationality to play for Ghana in June 2022.
