FC Barcelona Sporting Director Deco has confirmed that Nico Williams is interested in joining the club.
The 22-year-old Spanish attacker, who is of Ghanaian descent, has been linked to several European clubs, including Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
Deco stated that Barcelona will try to meet the right conditions to secure Williams’ services this summer.
“Nico wants to come… and we will try,” Deco said in an interview. “Nico, same as other players, is showing a strong desire to come… and if the right conditions are met in his case, we’ll definitely try to complete the deal.”
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has presented an improved offer to Athletic Club, including a higher salary and 2 million euros in annual bonuses, in an attempt to sign Williams.
The Blaugrana are working to meet the necessary conditions to land the talented forward.
