Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu is on the radar of Newcastle United ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Magpies are reportedly planning a £15M bid for the 23 year old centre-back.
Salisu currently has 12 months remaining on his Southampton contract.
The defender has been a key cog for the St Mary’s outfit since arriving from Real Valladolid in August 2020.
However, It is believed that the Saints will find it difficult to keep hold of the Ghanaian international if they suffer relegation to the Championship this season.
French giants AS Monaco and Olympique Marseille are also keeping tabs on his situation should he decide to make a move in the summer.
