Ansgar Knauff is reportedly a target for Newcastle United. According to Sport1, the Premier League club has approached Eintracht Frankfurt’s winger.
The winger speaking to Sport1 a week ago mentioned that he is ready to help Eintracht Frankfurt achieve a lot this season.
“We play in the Champions League, we play in the Supercup at the beginning of the season. Of course, these are big events where we want to be as successful as possible. I’m really looking forward to next year and to the Champions League in Frankfurt with these fans ,” he said.
Borussia Dortmund has loaned the 20-year-old to Frankfurt until the end of the 2022/23 season. Knauff signed his first professional contract with Borussia Dortmund on 25 November 2020, lasting until 2023.
On 20 March 2021, he made his first appearance in the Bundesliga, coming on for Thomas Meunier against Koln.
