Newcastle fans use Guimaraes’ latest goal to poke fun at Man United’s Bruno Fernandes

The Newcastle United faithful have flooded to social media on Saturday afternoon, to poke fun at Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.

Eddie Howe’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action once more.

With spirits high on the camp on the back of a trio of successive victories over the course of the last fortnight, the Magpies made the trip to Championship-bound Norwich City, no doubt confident in their chances of making it four wins on the spin.

And, as things stand at Carrow Road, another three-point haul is precisely what Newcastle look headed towards.

The day’s visitors took the lead in proceedings shortly after the half-hour mark courtesy of Joelinton, before the in-form Brazilian doubled his tally for the day to essentially kill off any remaining hopes of a Norwich comeback shortly before the break.

It is the third goal netted by their side in East Anglia, though, which has since, as alluded to above, seen the Newcastle faithful enjoy some fun at the expense of Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.

Portuguese international Fernandes was of course subjected to heavy criticism once more earlier this afternoon owing to a frankly dismal display en route to a 3-1 defeat at the Emirates.

Upon their own Bruno, Guimaraes, finding the net for the third time in his last three appearances at Carrow Road, the collective claim has begun to spread across Newcastle’s fanbase that they, not Man United, now boast the most talented Bruno in the Premier League:
