Ghana international, Brandon Thomas-Asante was on target for West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday when the team defeated Norwich 1-0.
The England-born striker started for his team in today’s Round 24 encounter of the 2023/24 English Championship campaign.
In the close contest between the two teams, neither side could get on the scoresheet in the first half.
After recess, West Brom did enough to get the only goal of the contest to secure all three points.
It was all thanks to new Ghana striker Brandon Thomas-Asante who scored with an assist from Grady Diangana in the 50th minute to lead the hosts to a narrow victory.
The important win has propelled West Brom to 5th on the English Championship table.
With his goal today, Brandon Thomas-Asante is now the club’s top scorer in the league.
He has scored seven goals and has two assists after making 22 appearances.
