This would mean that the player will have to inform his club that he wants to leave within the next month or risk his fee being hiked by the Bundesliga club in the summer.

According to the reports, in addition to the player submitting a written statement to his club that he intends to exercise the clause, the buying club must also inform them that the sum will be transferred in good faith.
Haaland is reportedly being pursued by several clubs this summer, namely Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich with Laliga said to be his preferred destination.
