New Black Stars striker Inaki Williams has opened his La Liga goal account after netting the opener in Athletico Bilbao’s 4-0 battering of Cadiz on Monday night.
Williams scored the opener on the 24th minute mark with a brilliant finish.
Los Leones swarmed Cádiz in attack and the hosts committed yet another defensive error as Alfonso Espino handled in the penalty area, giving Williams a chance to strike a third goal in three at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.
However, he missed a penalty kick on the 35th minute.
The striker’s tame spot-kick was saved low by Ledesma to give Los Piratas some hope of bouncing back after half-time.
Inaki’s younger brother Nico assisted the third goal for the Basque-based side.
Nico Williams’ flick inside the penalty area found Álex Berenguer, who fired in a third from close range in the closing stages before Guruzeta curled in his second in injury time.
Inaki was replaced on the 54th minute mark after he picked an injury.
