Nations FC will fight for Premier League title- Johnson Smith

Nations FC assistant coach Johnson Smith says the club’s target is clear ahead of the 2025/26 season — to win the Ghana Premier League.

The Abrankese side narrowly missed out last term, dropping from second to fifth after a three-point deduction from their abandoned clash with Basake Holy Stars.

But Smith insists they are stronger and hungrier: No club wishes to finish bottom. As for Nations FC, we will compete to finish on top of the table next season,” he told Kessben FM.

Since gaining promotion two seasons ago, Nations have finished seventh and fifth, but Smith believes the next step is to challenge for the ultimate.
