Nations FC forward fined by GFA for inappropriate goal celebration

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has imposed a fine of GHS 500 on Nations FC forward Emmanuel Annor for displaying a religious message on his undergarment after scoring against Asante Kotoko in their matchday 28 clash.

Annor’s celebration was deemed to be in breach of the GFA’S regulations, resulting in the fine.

The player has been warned that future incidents will lead to more severe consequences.

Nations FC currently sit second in the league , just two points behind leaders GoldStars.

As the season nears its climax, the team will be focused on securing wins to stay in contention for the title.

Nations travel to face Legon Cities next on Monday.
