Nations FC duo make switch to Hearts of Oak

Nations FC have officially announced the transfer of two of its players to Hearts of Oak.

The players are defender Michael Awuah Mensah and striker Asamoah Boateng Afriyie with details yet to be disclosed.

In a statement posted on the club’s social media page, they thanked the departing players for their contributions to the teams campaign 2023/24 season.

“Nations FC wishes to announce the permanent transfers of forward Asamoah Boateng Afriyie and defender Micheal Awuah Mensah to Accra Hearts of Oak. The club extends its heartfelt wishes to both players as they embark on their new journey and expresses profound gratitude for their incredible dedication and contributions during their tenure at Nations FC.

“Both players have left an indelible mark on the club’s history, being integral members of the team that secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League in the 2023/24 season. Their commitment and performances will be fondly remembered by the entire Nations FC community.

“We wish Asamoah and Awuah the very best in their future endeavors at Accra Hearts of Oak and thank them for their exemplary service to Nations Football Club.”

Nations FC concluded the recently ended Ghana Premier League campaign in seventh place with 49 points.
