Nania FC win silver at International Challenge Cup 2022 —

Nania FC‘s U17 side have won silver at the 2022 International Challenge Cup in Rabat, Morocco.

The Legon-based side succumbed to a 7-6 penalty shootout loss to Senegalese side Institut Diambars after drawing 0-0 in regulation time.

Strikers Vincent Adjei Klu and Peter Fiifi Hammond should have sealed the victory for Nania but, the duo couldn’t take advantage of the chances that came their way.

The youngsters, led by legendary African footballer Abedi Pele, recorded a 100 percent run in the competition en route to the final.

Nania recorded a 1-0 win over Diambars in the last group game.
